I think young male Scarlet... an adult female would be much cleaner and not as much red on her, as well, the red would also be confined to the head. Your bird is patchy red indicating a male developing adult plumage.
Don't you live up north? Could be a female Red-headed Honeyeater? But not certain, let's wait for the experts
