I'm always amazed by how much expression birds can have , look at the difference between a relaxed look and the angry look on the face of this Scaley-breasted Lorikeet only seconds later , when a Musk Lorikeet tried to land next to it.

Even the young Musk Lorikeet has a lot of facial expression on top of speading it's wings to look big enough to scare the Scaly

You are so right , I just had a closer look at the shape of the eye, the first one is round and the second one eliptical.
