Very poor quality photos but I think that this is a juvenile Australasian Gannet but would like confirmation please.

Yes, an Australian Gannet, almost an adult as it has lost most of its juvenile brown feathering, I do not have access to my pics folder but Shorty recently posted a juvenile A Gannet pic in the General forum http://www.birdsinbackyards.net/forum/Port-Macquarie#new.

Great, thanks pacman. These were taken at Picnic Point in Mimosa NP, NSW. Shame it was such a long way off shore!
