Saw quite a few Blue-Faced honeyeaters on the week-end that didn't have blue faces at all. These first five are juvenille birds as I understand it and the blue face comes as they age. I'm not sure how long it takes to change to blue though?

I had one visit my new bottlebrush trees in my garden yesterday. (Yayyyy!) Hope he/she comes back soon.
