Yes I had the tripod over my right shoulder...(How exciting...I'm trying to think who I saw there yesterday and can only think of one girl that had a camera).
Thanks Tim and Elsie. That's another first for me for the week-end actually, the other was a Drongo but I couldn't pull over!! I won't mention the Striated Pardalote that landed about three metres away from me at the Pullenvale garden centre on Saturday afternoon whilst my camera was in the car in the car park.
It's always so fun to add new birds to your list. I got the Mangrove Gerygone yesterday!
You said hello to me as you passed on the way to the hide, I was with a group of naturalists and had my bino's and camera around my neck (I might have also been the one in a purple top jumping up and down, after a big white bellied sea-eagle flew over)

Nice to meet you by the way
I remember that. Nice to meet you too! (I had to Google Mangrove Gerygone).
That's a Striped Honeyeater.
Striped honeyeater for me too.
I was at the Boondal wetlands yesterday aswell! Were you carrying a camera on a tripod by any chance?

Isn't it funny how we are living in this virtual world these days, and a face to face meeting is something to be commented on
Has its plusses and minuses.
I need to get my car back on the road so I can go birding again.
