Creery wetland reserve outing, Wren heavy!

Took a trip down to Mandurah to Creery wetland reserve, great day and a full day of sun to photograph in, alot of wrens around and ended up spending an hour photographing them.

Absolutely amazing photos. I love the bright blue on the wrens. I also like the Sacred Kingfisher oh and the ones in the soft light.

thanks for kind words, ill have to go back and see if i can spot the kingfisher again, found a photogenic pair last year but they seem to have moved on...

Beautiful shots, your WA wrens have such a beautiful blue to them.  Love the egrets too , they are all lovely work

Brilliant storyboard of delicious birds Mike, certainly looks like a fabulous spot.  I love the intimacy you've caught between the Wren pair, and the pose and light in that last shot is beautiful.
