At the moment numerous Golden Whistlers, male and female, have invaded my garden. Not that I mind, I love them. When I stand under the trees, they call from all around. Mostly they are high up in the trees. Suddenly one sat right in front of me, too close for my lens to focus. The one in the photos sat in a smaller tree, so couldn’t go any higher. I slowly worked my way around to the other side, hoping he wouldn’t notice me. He just sat long enough for me to take 4 photos. Now it’s all quiet, they must have gone deeper into the bush.
Such gorgeous little birds, and how wonderful for you to have an invasion.
Wonderful photos, great experience to see the males so close up.
Very Beautiful The colours are so lovely, they all blend so well.
Great shots!
