Taken at Karumba and having a bit of difficulty placing this one using the Field Guides. I think that it is a juvenile Black Kite. Sorry for the poor pictures. Could someone confirm or set me on the right track please? Thanks

Sure is a Black Kite (juvi left, adult right)
Thanks Jayden, the light coloured feathering around the head and neck was not obvious in my Field guides for a juvenile Black Kite. Sue

First thing I'd look for is the Black Kite's yellow cere and feet. It is kind of visible in the immature bird.
Notice how they aren't even close to being black.
