The Welcome Swallows are inspecting last year's nest. They pracice their approach again and again, doing a fly past. Fingers crossed , I hope they stay.

Stunning photo! The little swallows at my house had four eggs. However something must have come and taken them because they had gone this-morning

What do you mean Elsie? The eggs are gone or the Swallows? If the Swallows are gone, don't worry, thet'll be back. They do this every year at my place, they lay eggs in two nests, go from one to the other and make a decision which ones to sit on. Have you seen where they are going? There might be a second nest?
