Magpie in my backyard tree this morning. Spent a good ten minutes going through the feathers being very thorough.

It's easy to sometimes overlook or forget our more common or plainer birds, so it's very nice to be reminded with such a beautiful sequence of photo's, top stuff Rick!

Thanks all. I think we're all a bit guilty of forgeting the more "common" birds at times.
I was thinking about magpies in that if they were less common, they would be one of the most
appreciated birds for their beautiful colouring and song.
