We've had quite a variety of visitors to our garden lately, with the bird bath and small grevilleas proving popular with blue faced honeyeaters, little friarbirds, and brown honeyeaters, as well as the resident Superb Fairywrens who are probably a bit put out that (like hipsters) whose quiet hideaway is suddenly popular.
Work has been kind of crazy, but I've had the pleasure of a pair of noisy miners nesting outside a window near my desk. Their babies keep them on the go all day.
I decided to knock off a bit early, and got some nice shots of this Little Friarbird feeding.
I think he might have got in a tussle with something, it was very competitive in the grevillea tree.
Oh, and as a bonus, a pair of Rainbow Lorikeets investigating hollows. (looks like the council chainsawed off a bunch of deadwood on this gum tree. Lots of little hidey holes for nests)
Oh how lucky are you! I wouldn't get anything done with any sort of bird nesting outside my work window . I love the pastel tones you've caught with the Friarbirds, so pretty and delicate. And how beautiful are those Lori's with their cheeky faces, fabulous to catch them checking out the new real estate!

Great shots windshear.
Can only agree with Annie that I would not get much work done in those circimstances
Heh, yeah, it is a bit distracting. Unfortunately (for me, not the birds) the nest is hidden somewhat.
I also have a lot of work on at the mo.
Nice photos windshear.
