I spotted this guy in Samsonvale QLD, is he a Golden Whistler?
I thought he was a Rufous Whislter at first but he is more yellow than orange plus he doesn't have the line around the head like the Rufous Whistlers have.

This is a first for me.
I love their call.
I used to call them the "have a say" bird because it sounded like he was just going on and on.
I have heard the call for years but never knew it was Gerygone.

I love their call, the "falling leaf" call, very distinctive. Now my hearing is getting worse I am losing those high frequencies and only hear them if they are close.
