No problem, it makes me feel better to know that there are still pickings around for the rest of us!
Be thankful that it is only magpies that swoop people; an Osprey would do heaps more damage... Every now and again it would look up at me as if to evaluate if I was worth bothering about. Thankfully, the Osprey considered its afternoon tea more important than chasing pesky humans with cameras!
Great photos Lachlan,I had an awesome experience with one of these - I was fishing in a harbour one afternoon and suddenly SPLASH!, an Osprey dives into the water a few meters away, flaps around a bit and emerges without a catch, only to fly within 2 meters of me,and continue diving. Of course,I didn't have my camera...
Love your photos Look at those powerful legs.
