"Aldi has a spotting scope on sale 12 March for $49.99 (20-60x mag). Don't expect Zeiss quality but they do make a decent product. Perhaps a nice choice for kids or someone getting into birding, without having to spend the big bucks.
Also a night version device, laser range finder and wildlife camera.
