I haven't ever had the chance to get all 3 varieties of Ibis we have in Australia in the one photo, but I did at Newcastle Waters, NT, last week. Also got a nice shot of a pair of Glossy Ibis:

Thanks for the pictures, their feather colours and sheen are interesting. And thanks for attaching the Forum's Ibis 'fact sheets', now I understand what happens when you click in the 'Related Factsheet' text box below.

Are you having a good time up there or what? Those 3 ibis species remind me of the time Ms Woko & I with 2 friends saw in the same patch of sunflower orange-bellied, blue-winged, elegant & rock parrots. Amazing what you see when you don't have a camera! The patch had been grown by a farmer with the aim of providing food for the orange-bellied parrots.
Yes Woko, having a great birding time. People I meet through work are wonderful too.35 degrees at 11 pm in a tent is the only drawback but I'm happy to put up with that when the bird watching opportunities are as good as they are.
I've succumbed to the birding bug!

I have only seen 2 varieties of ibis. Amazing.
