I find photographing black birds a challenge, so I practised on some easy to find ravens. I often see them chasing birds of prey.

That's a good series of photos Birdgirl and very interesting, love the second photo looks like he had his perch removed abruptly. I would love to see a Swamp Harrier one day.

Top action shots Birdgirl, you are right what you say about shooting black birds, I have found it hard to get a clear pic of Willy wagtails at times.
I think these are great action shots too. It is hard to get them in the right light.
