BOP or other?

I heard the lorikeets going crazy so went out to see what the fuss was and saw a large bird chasing (or flying with) the lorikeets.. It's a long shot but anyone have any idea's what it is?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jy1Lwv3HP7M&feature=youtu.be

Can't be certain but looks pretty good for Collared Sparrowhawk.

Cheers, Owen.

Thanks owen, do you think it's possible for them to have come into the area in tha fast few weeks? it's normally relatively quiet but a few weeks ago (3-4) I noticed some BOP flying over head about 5 mins walk away and since then the rainbows and scally's have been chased out of their tree atleast once a week.

I took this picture not far from here (just down the road) not sure what it is but do you think it could be the same bird?

I looked at your video Cassie and thought the raptor flew like a Rock Dove (Columba livia). I had my friend Dr. Stephen Debus also look and he thought the flight characteristics were rather like that dove. Hard though, since the bird is very small in the frame.

Your second bird appears to me like a Whistling Kite. (looks a little like a Little Eagle too, but the tail is large and rounded here).
