Went for a drive yesterday just to the North of Adelaide.
Considering the weather it was mainly just for a look,but hoping for a few photos anyway.
The smaller birds were all tucked away but there were a few BOP out in the wind hunting.
Mostly underwing and heavily cropped so not so good quality but they show the under markings quite clearly.
In order (I think
) Brown Falcon,Nankeen Kestrel,Whistling Kite.
Just majestic.
Love the nankeen kestrel ones particularly.
Great results from your drive Rick. Must be a good area for raptors.
That kestrel has a very pronounced 'teardrop' marking. Lovely shots of the Kite too.
Great shots Rick. Not the easiest things to photograph against the sky.
