Grabbed an hour near home yesterday and got shots of 3 birds including a Black-Shouldered Kite, some very co-operative feeding Red-Browed Finches and a new tick the White-Browed Scrubwren.

I like your BSK on the wire, very beautiful birds.
Looks like the white browed scrub wren might be collecting food for some hungry little mouths.
Agree WD the BSK are a beautiful bird, there were two of the scrubwrens collecting food then dissapearing into the long grass on the side of a bank nearby and I could hear the young chirping as they went in.
Beautiful shots. Love the look on the face of the BSK.
These are beautiful photos. I love that red brow of the finches.

Great shots. Spring is well and truley here!
Great shots Brian, love the detail on the finches and like other a real soft spot for the BSK
Dont take life too seriously, it never ends well
Thanks Laza, got lucky with the finches as they were busy feeding came down to eye level and only a couple of metres away, didn't appear to be bothered by my prescence.
Wow, I love #3 the Red Browed Finch is so in focus, and I love the reflection in its eye
