Just back from a weekend away in Mount Gambier.
While not much time was available for birding, I was able to spend a little of it in the backyard of the
property we were staying at and had quite a good time.
The chooks have the run of the place and are quite friendly and tame.
Love the chooks!!!!

Beautifully healthy looking free rangers there. If I'm not alert, our little flock of chooks have been known to be smuggled past me inside for a cuddle and a hand-feed - I'm sure it's pure luck that they know they're chooks and have legs at our place I think , spoilt rotten.
Always envy how you, and other members, manage to expose white birds so well Rick, especially against sky. I tend to blow out more than I should quite a bit still. I need to find some white birds on a sunny day and just sit there with them to get exp comp etc to sink into my thick head a little better, lol. Lovely group shot of the Corellas and that Wagtail looks a cheeky one, looks like he's teasing with a side-on fan there, always a favourite bird to see for me.
