Went fishing on my mates boat today weather was almost perfect, freezing cold around 8am but was pleasant enough with a jumper on. Brought my Panasonic FZ20 along in the hope of snapping an Albatross and was lucky enough to come across one, though wasn't much fun as the boat was constantly rocking, managed a few keepers.
We caught the bag limit of 120 yellowfin Whiting which all were a decent size....

Thanks mate nice to see an Alby,I have never seen one.
And as for the fish I get jealous when I see them I do not have time for those luxuries :)
The last time I went fishing moses was a baby. :)
Seriously mate,good onya,half your luck.
Nice pic and catch (of fish) Raoul. Looks like we're all coming to your place for lunch ;-)

Hi guys thanks for your comments.aa 8 km from Rottnest Isle,Tassie mate i know what you are talking about, when i did my 27 years with TNT Transport it was a 4am start and 6 to 7 pm finish, now i don't get out of bed until 9am unless i have something planned.
George mate you had better hurry up as they are half gone, the Panasonic FZ20 was my Primary camera then i bought the Sony A300
Pic of a Snooty Shearwater otherwise known as a Mutton bird, 8 km from Rottnest isle which is in the background.
Very lucky to see the albatross and mutton bird. We stayed on Heron Island a few years ago and the mutton birds wailed all night like tortured babies. But I really missed the sound the first night back in a hotel at Sydney airport when all we could hear were planes and cars
raoul, when classes starts again you tell me when are you going back i'll try to go if i'm not a crowd in the boat, i'll shoot only hehehe :)
HI Raoul
