Today I went out because we had a rare blue sky
These whistling kites were flying close together
A black-shouldered kite flew over
Juvenile white-bellied sea eagle
I really like the pattern on the upper wings of the whistling kite
I didn't realise till I got home that I'd seen a brown goshawk
Seems anything but rare for you most of the time Birdgirl! Lovely photos, your shots are always a pleasure, I love 3 & 4 showing the patterns of the wings both above and under that some of the BoP have, paintings in a field guide really can't convey how beautiful it looks. Thanks for sharing :)

Thanks so much everyone. I took my son out and gave him my old camera and he was so excitied to see the courtship flights. He got some good photos too. We had just packed up when a juv WBSE flew right over the car really low. It would have been the best shot of the day ... if only I had the camera out!!
Good series yet again, this place never seems to fail.
Only the young Whistling Kites have the white spots on the top of their wings.
