Birds from places we have visited

This cheeky magpie got cheekier on every visit. Wisemans Ferry NSW.

I really enjoyed the company of the bluefaced honeyeaters that sat on our verandah and played in the tree there.
Dingo Qld.

This pic is very pretty I think

Mother Magpie instructing the young Dingo Qld.

Apostle birds! I knew these as happy jacks in my childhood. There are two juvenile magpies in the background. Dingo Qld.

Pale headed rosella sitting on a netting fence. Dingo Qld.

I hope you have enjoyed these photos even though they are not the best quality pics.

Hi Wollemi. I've never seen a Bluefaced Honeyeater, they look quite big, but then I'm not in Queensland. The magpie is inside?
Enjoyed your photos, thanks for sharing :)

Hi Kimberlina,

the bluefaced honeyeater is a common bird in Qld and they are quite the little actor, happy to put on a show for the camera.

Their size would be similar to the noisy minor.

Yes, the magpie came inside, every day he came further and further indoors and he would sit and watch us watch tv, he would take food off our plates if we were eating. We had to be careful not to leave the verandah door open.

Interesting collection of birds. I like the blue-faced honeyeaters - we have them in our yard sometimes. I think they breed at the local primary school. They like banksias
