Went for a walk around the yarra flats billabongs and sugar loaf park for my birthday...a very happy *cough cough* year old :)
shining Bronze cuckoo
Brown falcon?
Nankeen Kestrel
rainbow lorikeet
and this shot...a long way off, being harassed by magpies and crows...it was over a water treatment lake... a Juv. white bellied sea-eagle? any ideas?

"cough cough" a very nice set to Hev well taken.
A Photo is only as good as the eyes that look at it.

any ideas what number 5 is?
Use what talents you possess; the woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang best
Looking at the sizes I would say it's a Square tailed kite.

You've got some great shots there. I love the rainbow lorikeet one. They fly over our back yard all the time but never venture in.
Love the photos, the photo with the lorikeet in it, is it feeding off a flowering gum? We used to have one and the lorikeets loved it, but unfortunately it began to die and so we lost it.
Fantastic collection of birds of prey. I hope I do as well on my birthday, which is coming up. I won't say how old I am either. Happy belated birthday!
