Cute M-L... I had one in my hedge outside my window yesterday, they are such noisy little chirpers .
He sure looks funny all wet like that..how do you get so close?
Today I had a Whipbird in the same spot, but the pics were through the flyscreen so are terrible. Cute to have it there though.

How nice birdie, I have been after some Whipbirds for a long time. I can hear them on the neighbour's property, but can't get in there.
As for getting close, he is sitting on the edge of a water bowl, they come every night at the same time, but they are very shy, and take off the second I move the camera.Now I wait long before they turn up, holding the camera pointing at the bowl until they turn up and my arm is just about falling off from holding the bl.. camera. The things we do!? M-L
