Took this a couple of years ago while in Katherine, NT. Had just returned from a drive looking for Red Goshawk and was enjoying a beer on our cabin's verandah. This fella dropped in to say hello. Taken with my son's point and shoot Olympus FE-170. Raoul was interested in a shot of this species.

The blue around the eye is spectacular. We have them here, but I've only managed to photograph the juveniles (olive around the eye)
