OK some of you asked for my crap Crescent Honeyeater shot so here it is. I found it in Warrandyte and I recognised its call and had a look through my binos to confirm it.
I looked on birdata and there are no records anywhere near where I saw it, the closest place with a record was the Dandenong Ranges.

But I think the area along the Yarra in Warrandyte has the vegetation you would find them in. Tea-tree scrub, and damp gullies, right now, although later in the summer this area gets hot and dry. I do think, I have seen them around my place.We all know, that when you say, what bird it is, you are very sure. Thanks for posting.

The yellow marking on the wing is definitely there - have you tried cropping and enhancing in photoshop? I don't think it is a crap photo anyway - a lucky find more like it - I rarely find the birds I can hear.
