....one sharp tree, one fuzzy Cuckoo! LOL
Still, I was very "brave" to venture onto the neighbours property, he had told me before, should I sneak around his property, he would do, only god knows what? His land is paradise for birds though, all overgrown. I have heard Fan-tailed Cuckoos all the time, but they never come into my garden. So, today was the day I tried my luck!I couldn't get close enough to the bird, and as you can see, the focus is on the tree not the bird. Anyway, I got one. And now, that I survived, I am going in there again to get a better photo.Life is full of danger, even from your neighbour, you have to take risks!? LOL M-L
Although the photo is bad,the experience was thrilling!
Definitely a fan-tailed Cuckoo and well done finally seeing one.
Cheers, Owen.
Great catch ...dont get yourself shot in the process M-L

Thanks birdie, what made you think that? That's exactly what he said. I will try my luck again this afternoon, those ambitions (LOL), I need at least one sharp shot! Not a shot of me, the bird!! M-L
(I hear him often, he claims there are deer on his land,I won't be wearing my deer-antlers !)

Nice bird but watch out for people with weapons. Maybe you need a big lens (or wait until he goes out)
Very Nice. The cuckoos can be quite elusive can't they?
