Lovely photo, Commish - beautiful bird and lovely tree. We have recently started getting galahs in our backyard. Sad to say, the attraction is the berries on the huge Chinese elms (can't remove because too large and difficult to access between our workers' cottages). But we'll enjoy the galahs anyway!

Yestrday they very hot bird, sitting up the tree with wings out from the body. Trying to keep cool on a 43 Deg day & 40C the day before too.

Aren't they beautiful in colour? You can have that weather Commish!! :) I know what it is like over there in 46 degrees, that was years ago though. We just have to put up with the sticky humidity here and that's not so great either.
I bet the birdbaths would get hot on a day like that!
