That 140-600mm equivalent lens of yours is at its best when there's lots of light and you'll find that on bright sunny days when there's lots of contrast, your E-520's wide dynamic range handles shadows and highlights better than most.

Great shot Lyn. Like the way the wings are a backdrop for the heads of the foremost birds, and behind it all that beautifully soft lens bokeh.

Very frustrating at the moment - still - plenty of time to read that Manual!!!
The soft light actually gives good deep colours here - a great shot with those spread wings in the bg.
