As I have posted some photos of female Golden Whistlers , here now is a male. Question, I have taken photos of Wren Babies, Eastern Spinebill Babies...etc, but I have not seen a Golden Whistler juvenile yet. Does anyone have a photo of one? I would be most interested to see one. (even if it is a fuzzy one) Waiting, M-L
Here is a boy, I took earlier:

Great shot, lovely colours. Those males really haunt me, I've wanted a good one of a male for ages!
Cheers, Owen.
Golden Whistlers are such beautiful birds. Nice shot Araminta! ^_^ I don't think I have a pic of a juvi, just the adult male and females.
What a lovely shot, M-L. We had one in our garden about ten years ago, but none since. Sorry, I can't help you with a shot of a juvi.
Cheers,

What amazing colour. Do they live up to their name?
Yes, they do CstCare
Not only do they have amazing colours, their song is beautiful. The best experience you can have , is standing in the bush, and listen to more than three singing loudly, trying to win over the same female. Some weeks ago, that happened to me. The most amazing concert, singing coming from every direction.
This morning, I heard a few outside , but by the time I got the camera....they had moved. Well, sometimes it's better to just listen. M-L

Great photo, it would be a bit hard to miss him sitting in a tree with that bright yellow breast!
