I went to Jumping Creek Reserve, Vic on 7/10/11 and saw Striated Pardalotes, which was a lifer =^~
and a Rufous Whistler male.
I wasn't overly happy with the shots (they weren't as sharp ad I wanted because I forgot the tripod and it was a bit gloomy for both birds.

Striated Pardalote gathering nesting material.
Also, I missed out on a great opportunity for a White-eared Honeyeater because it was so quick moving I couldn't find it in the viewfinder >^X
Apologies to some who may already have seen these.
Beautiful Owen ..have you posted them before..I wouldn't know with my memory LOL. Love the Whistler shot, I gather that is an imm Rufous?? I am enjoying using my new Michael Morcombe field guide as it gives so many more illustrations and seems more accurate than my S & D.

Thanks. I posted them on another forum. I have the Morcombe guide as well and it provides good variation to the others I have.
Cheers, Owen.
Great photos Owen! I love the rufous whistlers, especially there calls.
I think your shots are very good, and they are lovely birds
