The Kings of my garden

On a lighter note, in my garden I left a small “non native tree” it filled a gap between two natives, and we thought we would remove them later. As it turns out, that little Japanese Maple is most popular with the King Parrots. Sometimes the little tree bends under the weight of so many King Parrots feeding on them. The Kings at my place seem to know me well, they are not scared and let me get very close to them with the camera. (the photos are not cropped, I did get that close)
you can see, they like the seeds of the Japanese Maple.

Lucky you, having all those parrots. Good detail on the birds too.

Cheers, Owen.

They are indeed just beautiful M-L .. just can't believe how close you are able to get to all your bird visitors .
Once again your camera and you are doing a superb job.
I hear them peeping all the time but just cant get to them to photograph them.
