On a lighter note, in my garden I left a small “non native tree” it filled a gap between two natives, and we thought we would remove them later. As it turns out, that little Japanese Maple is most popular with the King Parrots. Sometimes the little tree bends under the weight of so many King Parrots feeding on them. The Kings at my place seem to know me well, they are not scared and let me get very close to them with the camera. (the photos are not cropped, I did get that close)
you can see, they like the seeds of the Japanese Maple.

I hear them peeping all the time but just cant get to them to photograph them.
