Another nice series, Birdgirl. Looks as though you're becoming very comfortable with the new lens.

Hi Tassie

Every day at the moment: long-billed corellas, little corellas, galahs, rainbow lorikeets, eastern rosellas, noisy miners, spotted turtle doves, crested pigeons

Sometimes: sulphur-crested cockatoos, king parrots, scaly-breasted lorikeets, musk lorikeets, blue-faced honeyeaters

occasional: little corella x galah babies (several years), magpies, currawongs, butcherbirds, channel-billed cuckoos, kookaburras, Indian ringneck parakeet (escapee)

Once: cockatiel, budgie (both escaped pets), yellow-tailed black cockatoo (if only it was more often!), a pair of crimson rosellas (several times one year only)

Hated visitors: Indian mynas, starlings

It seems like a lot, doesn't it? We feel very lucky.

Tassie

Thanks Birdgirl, yes that is a lot and yes you are lucky.
As we speak I am planting native shrubs out the front.
I am making every effort to try and keep some of my visitors here a bit longer. :)

Good on you Tassie, natives really are the way to go, especially if they flower all year round or are tall. Did you find the book in your library? I forgot to mention that we sometimes have tawny frogmouths at night.

Tassie

I have not had a chance to get to the libary yet,I am out of town a lot.
I have not forgotten though and will get up there for a look first chance I get.
