Okay, I admit it, I did go out to look for BOP, but I found some nice small birds instead
At my frst stop I saw chestnut-breasted mannikins
golden-headed cisticolas
and red-browed finches
At my second stop I saw male superb fairy-wrens
and female superb fairy-wrens
and white-breasted woodswallows by the river
At my third stop I stood in front of a bottle brush for about 15 mins to see who would turn up. A scarlet honeyeater did
and what I think is an immature scarlet honeyeater
and a silvereye
and a yellow-faced honeyeater
and a yellow-rumped thornbill

Not BOP
The last one is my favourite. I like when the birds sort of say "What?!" :)

All are very nice but the Scarlet HE is my favourite - just SUPERB. I also like the way the Butterbum is looking at you.

Very nice shots and a huge range. I love the Scarlet HE.
Cheers, Owen.
Very cute birds - when I see the small birds I often womder how those tiny organs can still function when they are so small. Great photos again!
