These are not very good shots as the wind was really blowing and they were holding on tight but I hear them often chattering away in the trees lately. This was just outside my house.
This is before editing ( for Hev)
and after editing
Also , I am assuming this is a pied currawong, can someone correct me if I am wrong?
I just love their musical calls in the evenings.
Cheers
Birdie
I like your rosellas - we have the eastern rosellas here. Ours have nested in autumn as well as spring some years (and are looking at the rosella box now) so keep an eye out in case yours are planning to nest too
thnx Birdie! yep looks like a pied currawong to me....don't have pale headed rosellas down here....so more shots please on not so windy days...do you have sunny/not windy days in Queensland? 'tis beautiful weather here in Melbourne:)
Use what talents you possess; the woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang best
Ha ha ha Hev, we do occasionally get nice days, just not at the moment, especially with this cyclone hanging about.
cheers

Nice to have the Rosies around Birdie, they are a nice bird alright.
HI Birdie
Love the shots of the Pale Headed Rosellas.
We don't see them here.
