Lyn, plan on going to the Warrawong (or whatever it was) Wildlife sanctuary when we go to SA! Hopefully will see the Adelaide Rosella (which I couldn't track down in my field guide until I found out it was a species of Crimson Rosella) and hopefully will see some of the great birds listed. I hope I can get some good shots of some water birds, I don't have any photos of avocets, stilts, sandpipers and the like. Love the photos, epc. the Rosella, beutiful photo, well done in getting so close to him/her.
Thanks John - pity I messed up on the size. Was working on another forum and forgot to change the size!
Amateur - Thought of something else I should have mentioned for your trip - will post on the "Social" page. The Adelaide Rosella is a cross-bred and I think I am correct in saying that they are only found in the Adelaide Hills and SA. Their colours vary quite a bit.
Wrong size - but don't mind the effect - so will not repost.
You get the idea!!!
Hi Lyn, nice shots of the Parrots.
Cheers
John
