They are the prettiest little birds - wish we had them in SA.
Only time I have seen them was in the NT at Berry Springs years ago - pre- interest in cameras! Bet you enjoyed spotting him.

last summer i saw an abundance of bee eaters around my home in busselton. There was even a nest across the road in a spare block which at first i thought was a snakes hole. They are such a beautiful bird and great photo
