Rainbows and their colours

Each time I walk even when in the same route, there is always something different to see, even if you have seen it before. (doesn't make sense I know but some days you see more than others)
Today I saw the intense array of colours on these more than ever before

And finally got to capture this fine fellow who share the pond with the ducks and the little pied cormorant.

And appreciated the Ibis even, who I usually take for granted

And while I was recording a Golden Whistler boy, I was being watched and didn't realise it!

There has to be something going wrong as I couldn't have done it 4 times I am sure. I'll give up anyway.

Great shots Birdie, love the Ibis we have heaps of them fly over here all day, so low you can hear the wings beating.

Hmm, didn't know lizards could swim! The Ibis' have gotta be the most annoying birds going round, all today at cricket you could only their honking randomly going... Love the photos, especially of the lorikeet, they really are colourful! By the way I also had the same problem even after trying around 3 times and I'm sure I didn't make the mistake again and again, I think it could be the forum.

That lizard is a water dragon of some sort Amateur, and it can swim so well it looks like it's walking on water at times! Looks so funny to see him sitting in the middle of he pond on a lily pad! Today, there were pacific blacks, woodies, little pied cormorant, and the dragon, and the ibis all sharing the same space together . Normally I try to ignore the Ibis as they are such a pest, but Birdgirl2009 made me realise how beautiful they look in flight , and I have to admit they are an easy target with the light shining through their wings. The Loris looked exceptionally colourful today, maybe it's being in love in Spring that does that!!!

By the way Amateur, they have been working on the forum so maybe things will improve with all the little problems in the near future.

THe ibis shots are fantastic. They do look beautiful when they are backlit.
If they are working on the forum, it would be nice to have a column that says the original post date, so you knew if a post was one you had already seen

Did you know that you can check the posts you are subscribed to? Or at least some of us can. In your profile? I cant unfortunately but they are working on that.

From within the forum page if you look at the top, there is a Profile tag. Click it and see what happens. As you are one of the older members you may not be able to access it, but try anyway

I had a look and it does show all the threads I am subscribed to. They don't have a date so I don't know how they are organised. Trouble is, I answer so many it's not much use to me

I had forgotten that. I would like to get rid of some so it would be handy to just delete the ones you know you don't want anyway. I am getting notifications for each and every post that is made, even the new ones and it is doing my head in a bit with my inbox. Quite distracting at times LOL
