We get the Little Wattlebirds nesting in our year, but this one seems to have a bit of red showing. Could it be a Red Wattlebird?
"yard" - not "year"!! Grrr
yes lyn, that is a red wattlebird, with a red wattle, ha ha. , cheers, steve
Not much of a wattle though Steve! Bit poor I thought!
The red wattlebird's wattle is smaller than the yellow wattlebird's wattle. And how about this - the little wattlebird and brush wattlebird lack visible wattles!
Gidday Lyn, we don't get them up here, you are lucky to get them in your year,I mean yard ha ha. :)
HI Lyn Where is that edit button HA HA Don't worry we have all done that. Nice bird there is a pair in my yard.
