Red-backed Fairy Wren

A shot that I took on the Noosa north shore a couple of months ago. I'm pretty sure that it's a female.Thanks for viewing.

Thanks Raoul. What I meant to say was I think it's a female Red-backed FW as opposed to some other female wren species. Hmm, methinks we desperately need an Edit button.

A very nice little take and tac sharp as always George.
Yes, an edit button among other modifications (for example, a Preview button, A "My Threads" button, no time-out limit, etc.) could transform BiBY into a professionally designed forum - but then we'd probably end up with banner ads to make it economically rational.

Birdie I was pleasantly surprised by the great birding sites around Noosa. My ignorance of the area led me to believe that it wouldn't be so good. Managed to see a Grey Goshhawk (twice) but, unfortunately, didn't get a shot of it. Scarlet HEs were also very common but the buggers wouldn't keep still !
