Mount Remarkable ? So are those photos. So many, and all great, hard to name a vavourite. I could sort them by red, blue and scary eyes.(LOL) There are some red ones of the chough, some blue ones of the little wattlebird and some that stare at you, like the New Holland's.But none beats the angry look of the Common Mynah's evil eye.
But the Emu family is just gorgeous.I do like the little Sparrow, the "Spatz", I was called that when I was a little girl. Thanks Laurius, M-L

Impressive series there Larius. Wide range of birds and some good ones in there too.
Watch that Thornbill because it could be another type such as Chestnut-rumped Thornbill because it lacks the streaks of the Brown Thornbill :)
Cheers, Owen.
I meant it could be an Inland Thornbill not Chestnut-rumped.
Cheers, Owen.
Yeah, I know, I'm really bad at identifying those little grey birds :) I was looking at my field guide a lot but still wasn't sure when I wrote the name of this bird :)

Wow! What a great album of photos! I gather you must be tired from getting all of these magnificent shots and travelling but you must of had a great time :) You've captured the details of each bird very nicely, I love your shots of parents with their juveniles, they are so sweet! I love the brown quail pics, especially. The focus is spot on and I love how you've captured the speckled patterns on its feathers and emphasising this against its well camouflaged surrounding! Great work!

Tired? No way :) Bird photography is a relief for me whether it is after hard week working, or traveling. What's really a bit tedious is going through all those hundreds of photos and picking only few good ones :) Thanks everyone.
