Serendip Sanctuary

I went to Serendip Sanctuary, Vic yesterday and saw a good range of captive birds as well as wild ones. I managed to get onto a few Purple-crowned Lorikeets but no photos. I got a lifer with a female Blue-billed Duck.

Captive Emu roaming around the carpark

Musk Duck (female)

White-winged Chough, one of many and I saw lots of nests

Bush Stone Curlew

New Holland Honeyeater, they were abundant there but buggers to photograph

Captive Buff-banded Rail. They were wandering in the open in the aviary.

WOW lots of variety there, looks like a worthwhile place to visit.

We were in Geelong in April, didn't know about Serendip, will have to visit next time.
