Thanks to a email from Holly I wanred to have a look at the upgraded forum. Looks good and more interactive.
I dont photograph many birds in my backyard due to living in the city but I do the next best thing and go out looking for birds. This little fella was sitting in the sheoak trees near the Leschenault Estuary.
Lovely image, you have captured the shiny iridescent green on the wing and the banding on the breast and body. So close to the shining bronze cuckoo from my bird books, well identified.
