While out taking other photos near Morphettville in Adelaide come across quite a few parrot in trees near the sturt creek.

The Rainbow Lorikeet's are a very playful birds nice shots.
Never get tired of seeing them Commish, thanks for sharing.
Interesting...
They look slightly different to the ones we get locally in Brissie - a bit more mottled red in the chest than the mostly orange/yellow I see, plus a bit more orange/yellow near the feet.
Perhaps this is a juvenile, or maybe just slight variations by region... hard to tell really.
