I love the way you can't see the clear outline of the darter, it looks like a silhouette, cool! And the midair battle! Looks like exciting times, was there a winner? Some beautiful photos, where were they taken at? Thanks for sharing.
Woohoo! Well done, great series of shots. Love the mid air battle... I would have been so excited I would have muffed those shots for sure!!
Lovely darter shot too.
Did you see the sea eagle and foe on the coast or inland?
Thanks - will have a look when I get the chance. I also have to check on the whistling kites to see if they are nesting. I saw another nest in the usual spot I go to last time I went - 3 in total
There is a lot of BOP along that Rd if you go to the end and turn left and turn left again at seaham it will take you back to R.T. about 40km round trip but will take a while with all the stops for photos
Great shots, smeedingo. You were out in a boat? you must have an exceptionally steady hand then! who won the mid air battle, that must have been so exciting. The second brown falcon shot is my faveourite, just beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Use what talents you possess; the woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang best
