We have only seen whistling ducks recently, once at Armstrong beach up near Sarina, and again near Bowenville (near Cecil Plains) each time in their hundreds (at least) but not close enough to get a decent picture of them except as a cloud of birds. Yours are good in flight ones, and yes, the last one does look like a learner doesn't it?
