We moved to Medowie NSW recently after a year and a half on the west side of Lake Macquarie, and it didn't take long for the locals to drop in. The lorikeets and rosellas are regulars, as they were before, but a pair of Red-Rumped Parrots were a surprise when they showed up one morning. They were a new species for us. As were these guys...
These were taken last week, when four of them dropped in one morning. Word has obviously got around since then, because today we ended up with eleven of them in the garden!
