Beautiful shots, Jeanne!

I've been trying to entice some of these guys to nest in my yard by putting up a nest box. They've checked it out a few times, but the noisy miners always chase them off. I think a few more native grasses and a bird bath out in the open may also help.
As you know, I love stories. This one is just gorgeous. Once they are in the bath, they look like a "married couple", just beautiful. They look a bit pale, they need some sunshine. M-L
How lucky you are to have the PHRs bathe in your bath :) I am waiting for them to come down this near.... ever hopeful now that I have a new birdbath but so far only then noisy miners are game LOL
Sometimes it takes a bit longer for the birds to find your birdbath. As you might remember earlier this year I took lots of photos in and around the birdbath. It still stands in the same spot, you would think they know where it is? Now that the European(crap) tree has leaves, it is in the shade. I thought it might be nicer for them? But no, they can't see it from above, they don't use it. I will have to move it somewhere else now. M-L
Our bird bath is under a large bottle brush, the Pale Headed Rosellas just come in once or twice a day sometimes just for a drink other times for a bath but they never stay for long.
haha they look so cute and comical when they're wet :p
love the pictures
Great shots Jaytee. Love the last one, looks like they are really enjoying that bath.
Great shots. I love these Rosellas to death but only seen them once!
Cheers, Owen.

Hmmmm. That's interesting, Araminta. I'm keen to hear the results of moving your birdbath to a sunnier position.
The result is to be seen here:

Adorable. We have rosellas in our trees every day and a pair in our nesting box at the moment but they never bathe in the birdbath
Not while you're looking, anyway, Birdgirl!
I have standards :)
I have accidentally captured several poos being done by BOP but have never posted them!
