Lovely captures Ed, are they in your garden nesting?
Use what talents you possess; the woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang best
Lovely shots Ed - they sure look healthy birds. Nearly time they were kicked out of home I reckon.
Wonderful capture - especially of the juvenile with its mouth wide open
What a great series of shots, ed. A common bird but one that I never tire of seeing. I'd love to have them in our neck of the woods. Thanks for sharing.

As usual ed, stunning shots and a nice sequence. We have them heaps in our garden but I usually hear them rather than see them with so much bush around. They love palm fronds for some reason.
